The Aquatic Centre is everywhere: on posters in the metro, in newspapers, the inauguration of Bernar Venet’s work of art, exhibitions, reports, publications.

We’re very proud to see our ‘wooden sculpture’ capturing the world’s attention. Come and discover or rediscover our project, and immerse yourself in a summer of dreams, challenges and ambition!

Discover and admire ‘Converge 54.5° Arc x 14’, Bernar Venet’s new work of art.
Inaugurated by Patrick Ollier, President of the Greater Paris Metropolitan Area, and Mathieu Hanotin, Mayor of Saint-Denis and President of Plaine Commune, in the presence of Nicolas Ferrand, Executive Managing Director of the Société de Livraison des Ouvrages Olympiques – SOLIDEO, and Diane de Navacelle de Coubertin, author and lecturer, descendant of Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the monumental sculpture is installed near the Aquatic Centre. This powerful work symbolises the universal values of sport and recalls the industrial heritage and working-class past of the Plaine Saulnier mixed development zone.

Visit the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR) at the Nieuwe Instituut. The Aquatic Centre is featured on the ‘Paris Bio-Based’ stand as one of the leading examples of low-carbon developments in Paris.
