Ateliers 2/3/4/ and Tristan Brisard Architects win the competition for the restructuring and expansion of the Francis-Le Basser Stadium in Laval.
We are delighted and proud to announce that Ateliers 2/3/4/ + Tristan Brisard Architects have won the competition for the restructuring and expansion of the Francis-Le Basser Stadium in Laval.
Our project, designed as an ecological and legible ensemble, fits harmoniously into the site and transforms a single-purpose building into an iconic structure and a neighbourhood in its own right.
It confirms our expertise in the restructuring and design of mixed-use, reversible ecosystems, combining public spaces and architecture.
Presented on Monday 15 December 2025 at the Laval Agglomération community council meeting, it aims to fulfil an ambitious programme: a 14,000-seat stadium meeting high-level competition standards with innovative box and hospitality facilities, an urban redevelopment project for the entrance to the city, and a controlled and sustainable economic project creating 17,000 m² of tertiary and commercial space and several hundred jobs.
This victory was achieved after a close competition, during which the entire project management team demonstrated remarkable expertise, professionalism and team spirit.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Laval Agglomération and Stade Lavallois Mayenne FC for their trust, and we would like to commend our competitors for their commitment to this high-level competition.
