Aquatics Centre – Grand Prix de la Réalisation Grand Paris
We are delighted and proud to announce that the Aquatics Centre and its Pedestrian overpass in Saint-denis have been awarded the “Grand Prix de la Réalisation Grand Paris” by the Club des Acteurs du Grand Paris, in partnership with Le journal du Grand Paris.
“With this prize, we want to reward the many innovations that this major facility is implementing for the forthcoming 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games”, emphasised Sébastien de Vanssey, Director of Institutional Customers and Property Professionals at the Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday 20 September at the SIBCA – Salon de l’Immobilier Bas Carbone, in the presence of Férielle Deriche, the show’s director; Thomas Hantz, chairman of Acteurs du Grand Paris, and Olivier Frard; Rémi Vial-Collet, chairman of #Fair; and on behalf of the Metropole du Grand Paris, Eric Cesari, vice-chairman, Pascal Pelain, mayor of Villeneuve-la-Garenne, and Quentin Gesell, mayor of Dugny, Vice-chairman responsible for Sports facilities.
Representing Ateliers 2/3/4/ and VenhoevenCS respectively, Laure Mériaud and Cécilia Gross, the architects of the project carried out for La Métropole du Grand Paris, received the award on behalf of all the teams from the agencies and the consortium led by Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France.
This prize rewards a collective effort in favour of sustainable, inclusive and replicable solutions.
