Inauguration of the pedestrian crossing linking the Saint-Denis Aquatics Centre to the Stade de France.
The evening of 7 June 2023 was reminiscent of August 2024. In the presence of Clément BEAUNE, Minister Delegate for Transport, Patrick OLLIER, President of the Greater Paris Metropolitan Area, Tony Estanguet, President of the Organising Committee for the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, Mathieu HANOTIN, Mayor of Saint-Denis, Pierre RABADAN, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of sport, the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the members of the #SIMBALA consortium, led by Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France, the pedestrian crossing over the A1, designed by Ateliers 2/3/4/ and VenhoevenCS, was inaugurated at an official ceremony to which the public was also invited to celebrate the creation of this key axis for the changing neighbourhood.
